Al-Asma al-Husna — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Al-Asma al-Husna ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application (com.asmaallah.asmaallah). By using the App you agree to the practices described below.

1 · Information We Collect

ACCOUNT

When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo URL. This information is provided by you or by Google and is used solely to identify your account and sync your personal data across devices.

USER CONTENT

Reflections, journal entries, and favorites you create inside the App are stored in your personal account on our Firebase database. Community reflections you choose to share are visible to other signed-in users.

PURCHASES

If you subscribe to AsmaALLAH Pro, your purchase is processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.

USAGE

Firebase automatically collects minimal technical data (device type, OS version, crash reports) to help us keep the App stable. We do not use this data for advertising.

2 · How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and sync your favorites, reflections, and progress
To manage your subscription and unlock premium features
To display community reflections shared by other users
To send optional daily reminder notifications (only if enabled by you)
To improve the App's stability and performance

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

3 · Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

4 · Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, all personal data (favorites, reflections, profile) is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Community reflections you previously shared may remain until manually removed before account deletion.

5 · Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6 · Your Rights

You may at any time:

Access or update your account information via Settings → Account
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
Opt out of community sharing by keeping reflections private
Disable notifications via Settings → Notifications
Cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play

7 · Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in Google's Firebase infrastructure, which applies industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your data is restricted to your own account via Firebase Security Rules.

8 · Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
